This is the ALPHA release of Blood.  This version used a version of Build engine modified by 3DFX to support their hardware.

This ALPHA only support the Registered and Plasma versions of Blood; shareware
is NOT supported.

The patch will install a 3DFX.EXE.  This is the 3DFX version.  Blood.exe is the 'normal' version.

If you want to run networked games using the 3DFX version, you will need to modify
the file commit.dat using a text editor and replace the BLOOD.EXE with 3DFX.EXE

This version is ALPHA.  This means that there are known bugs.
