Content Submissions

Content Submissions Guidelines:

If you would like to submit content such as maps, mods, tools, or fan content for Duke Nukem games, please email us at: submit@dukenukemcentral.com. For a quicker response, we recommend joining our Discord Community and sharing your work in our DNC Content Hub. We’re looking forward to seeing what you have in store!

To ensure the submission process goes smoothly, please read and follow these guidelines:

  1. Clearly indicate what category your submission falls under and the game it is for. Include a link to send the file; any messages that don’t meet these requirements will be ignored.

  2. Please allow us a few days to review your files, depending on the number of submissions we receive and the workload of our staff. If we don’t upload your content within 30 days of submission, please contact the DNC staff on our Discord server for further information.

  3. To be accepted and uploaded onto the site, your submission must pass our Guidelines Submissions Policy. We only accept clean content for modding and user-made content for Duke Nukem games.

  4. Once your submission is successfully reviewed and passes our Guidelines Submissions Policy, our staff will upload it to the website to be displayed or downloaded.

  5. We include a note in the content package that ensures users that it is safe to use and does not contain any malicious content. If you obtained the file without this document, we recommend downloading the content from the official DNC site or proceeding with caution.

  6. When submitting your content, please follow these guidelines:

  • Indicate if the submission is an Alpha Release, Beta Release, Release Candidate, Demo Release, Final Release, or Bug Fix.
  • A readme file must be supplied that includes your name/alias, any credits, and a description of what the content is about. Please include this file in a .zip archive.
  • Make sure your submission does not contain any material from the main game (ROMs included). Assets from the main game may be used if they are fully modified from their original form.
  • Duke Nukem Central will not be held responsible for the content in the map/mod author’s package.
  • Standalone modifications are allowed as long as the code is officially open-sourced and/or publicly available by the developer or IP holder (except for shareware data).
  • Please make sure your content is organized (e.g., maps in the Maps folder, textures in the Textures folder).

Thank you for considering Duke Nukem Central for your content submissions. We look forward to seeing your contributions!
