DNC Duke it out event on Saturday! (On NukemNet)

|

If you have seen the official Discord server for Duke Nukem Central, you have most likely seen that there’s a Saturday event going on! Duking it out on Nukemnet. The mod used? “NetDuke32 Complete Fun pack”! This is also using Duke Nukem 3D, so you must own the Atomic version, and the NetDuke32 client for it to work. If you’re wanting steps on how to get INTO the NukemNet lobby hosted and such, here they are:

Step 1. Download Duke Nukem 3D Atomic edition. It has unfortunately been pulled from shelves ever since Gearbox Entertainment Software released the world tour 20th anniversary. If you want to buy Atomic now, it is on the Zoom platform, selling for $6. (https://www.zoom-platform.com/product/duke-nukem-3d-atomic-edition)

Step 2. Install NetDuke32. While there are other ways to set up the source port, the aforementioned Party Pack has the NetDuke32 Port. (https://voidpoint.io/StrikerTheHedgefox/eduke32-csrefactor/-/releases/)

Step 3. Install NukemNet. You can search this site for it since it’s easy to find, or if not, you can use the link provided at the end of this paragraph. You will need to follow certain instructions on how to get your stuff set up for Nukemnet too. If you’re wanting to know exact steps, there is the “How To” section to help you. (https://nukemnet.com/)

Step 4. Download and install the Party Pack. The NukemNet site has a link provided to it in order to get to the source. If you have no idea how to set Party Pack up, extract the Party pack to your games or source ports folder. Then, go to your ZOOM or overall game directory, and copy the Duke Nukem 3D GRP into your source port folder. If this does not work, you copy the source port folder and put it in the Party Pack folder. Note: The Duke Nukem Party pack also has the NetDuke32 source port there to simplify the process.

After you are done with these steps, y’all can Duke it out on Saturday! Have fun readers and Server members!
